I'm sure that some form of extraterrestrial life forms have visited Earth but all of today's descriptions don't seem realistic - big black eyes, bare pink skin. If they had big black eyes that would mean they came from a dark planet which is rather cold so they would need some form of protection from our Sun and also would have to wear some form of clothing. Since they are pictured as naked and with pink skin, am I missing something? |

I am mystified by your statement that you are sure that extraterrestrial life forms have visited Earth. There is no evidence whatever for such visits. Are they are any geological or other non-biological chemical reactions that could naturally occur on a planet (terrestrial or jovian) or moon that would release a high quantity of molecular oxygen into its atmosphere (a quanity and/or percentage similiar to Earth's atmosphere)? If not, would discovering a planet or moon with a high quantity of molecular oxygen in its atmosphere serve as very strong evidence for the presence of life (particularly photosynthetic)? In short, is molecular oxygen considered as a strong biosignature? |

The are many non-biological processes that generate oxygen gas. These are the sources that, for example, contribute the very small amount of oxygen in the atmosphere of Mars. The Hubble Space Telescope has never taken a photo of aliens, and neither have any of our planetary spacecraft such as the current Mars rovers and orbiters. Is it possible for NASA to send a probe like pathfinder to Mars's Ice Caps check for life in that? Cause We do find life in extreme cold or hot condition on earth. |

II was on the NASA home page and searched Planet Niburu. Come to find out there actually is a planet beyond Pluto and they are calling it Niburu.Some said Planet Niburu didnt exist but now we know it does! There havent been many straight answers on this subject so I dont really expect to get the total truth,but here I go. Is there ANY chance of a Niburu flyby in 2012? And if there is why dont the public have a right to know so that we can prepare ourselves? |

Here's one for ya. The face on Mars. Now, keep in mind that I'm a UFO alien believer. I've been to several websites, read several articles, and watched several videos about the face on Mars. I've even seen all the photos. Now, despite what NASA says....THAT'S A FACE!!!! Anyone can see that! It's not shadow's or trick-of-light. Why does NASA always cover these things up??? For once, can't we just be told the TRUTH? |

I'm sorry to hear that you have been taken in by absurd claims on the web about the Face on Mars. Sure, it looks like a face in low-resolution images like the original Viking photo in 1976. Is it theoretically possible that a viral or bacterial agent found on one of the planets in our solar system could potentially infect humans? If such an agent were found on Mars or in the oceans (theoretical) of Europa, and it were exposed to human cells, what chance is there that the alien content could infect the human cells, assuming that the same building blocks exist as in carbon based life forms like us? I'm a writer and am very curious about this subject. |

Hi, I'm sure you're tired of answering questions about UFOs. Sorry! Since it is impossible to explain away all UFO cases, in addition to common down-to-earth explanations, would you also say it's safe to bet a few might be experimental government, man-made craft that are not acknowledged for security reasons? An Illinois signting in 2000 near an Air Force Base comes to mind. Thanks for your time! |

After reading several posts in this column, I've concluded that you people are either LYING or MISLEADING the general public. After all these years, NASA has repetitively DENIED the existance of UFO's, or alien life on other planets! You say all spacecraft satellites you've sent out STILL have'nt found life on other planets, not even on the microbial level! So.....just what ARE you people doing at NASA? |
