Speaker Information General Information Please note the following important information you will need to have a successful oral presentation. • All sessions will be equipped with an LCD projector for PowerPoint presentations, as well as an overhead projector for transparencies and a single slide projector. Note that the sessions are not equipped for dual, 35mm slide presentations. If you choose to use the overhead transparency projector, remember you must bring your transparencies complete and ready to present. • If you will be using a PowerPoint presentation, you may have already sent your PP presentation to: meg@fernbacher.com. In addition, please have available a copy of the presentation with updates (if any) on a zip disk. Computers will be able to read both Mac and PC versions of your presentation. Please note: We will not be able to read Unix formatted presentations. • As always, we will be adhering to a strict time schedule. Keep in mind you will have 15 minutes; 12 for the presentation and 3 minutes for Q&A. These time limits apply only to the Special Sessions, and the Contributed Talks sessions. • Once you have checked in at registration, please go directly to the speaker ready room (Graham Room), to run through your presentation and have it down-loaded onto a master computer for distribution to the room in which you will be presenting. • Ten
(10) minutes prior to your presentation, you MUST go to the back
of your presentation room and see the AV tech. This is NOT
the time to be making changes to your presentation. All computers for
presentations will be set-up in the back of the room, to be monitored
by an AV Tech. If you have a PowerPoint presentation, you will be given
a clicker that will indicate to the AV Tech when to advance the presentation.
If you are using transparencies, we will have someone present to flip
the transparencies for you. If you are using 35mm slides, you will
need to advance the slides manually. Downloads Speaker
