Teresa Longazo’s research interests lie in microbial
weathering and its potential to serve as a biosignature
in the search for life on other planets. She has worked
with Lunar and Planetary Institute and the Johnson Space
Center Astrobiology Group as the Martian Meteorite Data
Coordinator. She was recently videotaped for a segment in
the National Geographic television series, The Gene Hunters.
