Teresa Longazo’s research interests lie in microbial weathering and its potential to serve as a biosignature in the search for life on other planets. She has worked with Lunar and Planetary Institute and the Johnson Space Center Astrobiology Group as the Martian Meteorite Data Coordinator. She was recently videotaped for a segment in the National Geographic television series, The Gene Hunters.
